Today Mr Sadrakh is absent so Mr Harry take over. He taught us about notation because some of us forgot about it. But I still remember because a few weeks ago Mr Sadrakh tested us on notation.

Today I watched my friends who have not played last week play their assessment song. I am bored because I didn't do anything. I am also not allowed to go to the toilet during the assessment because that rule is written on the assessment paper.

Today we rehearse the song for the assessment. My song is "Ode to Joy". It's pretty hard to play because my instrument is flute. When I blow the flute, sometimes the sound didn't come out. I don't even know why.

Today Mr Sadrakh gave us an open book test. It's easy because we can search for the answer. The questions are easy based on my point of view so I think I'll get all correct.

Today Mr Sadrakh asked us one by one about Baroque Music Style. I don't know some about it. I have to study more for the test on Friday. I am worried because this test needs memorizing and understanding. I am bad at memorizing.

I redo my assessment today which is singing Santa Lucia. Before, I decided not to redo. But since all my friends redo the assessment, I finally decided to redo. I also did this for the sake of my score. I didn't want a bad IB grades only because of this.

Today is the day of the singing assessment. I am very nervous and I still couldn't find the solution on how to sing high pitch sound. I did the performance, but Mr Sadrakh says that it's bad. I am worried about my score.

Today Mr Sadrakh told us to practice our song "Santa Lucia". I had a problem when it come to high pitch sound so I will have a hard time singing it. I will try to find a way on how to sing high pitch sound.
In the Instrument Class, we still practice the song for the assessment like 2 days before. But then I already memorized it. I still couldn't sing the high pitch sound and I'm frustrated.

Today Mr Sadrakh distributed our scores for the booklet and the music blog reflection. I got 9.5/10 and I'm quite proud of it because I rarely get a score that high.
In the instrument class, I practiced singing the song "Santa Lucia", I still haven't memorize the lyrics because it's hard to memorize it. They use the France Language.

Today we evaluated our finale. Mr Sadrakh asked for our scores and we have to evaluate why we get the scores. Mr Sadrakh asked one by one. I didn't get the chance because there are 27 students in my class. So the time is too short to do it.

Today, Mr Sadrakh checked our blog and the finale submission. He also distributed the finale submission assessment paper. We have to fill it in and submit it today. I quickly fill the paper with some blanks. The assessment paper is about our reflection on the melody we make.

Today Mr Sadrakh is absent so Mr Hary take over and taught us. Mr Hary said that the whole class' finale didn't have the chords so I'll edit it after I reach home. Mr Hary taught us how to put the chords before dismissing the class.

Today was the submission date of my finale. I think I'll get good scores because I prepared it yesterday. I even rechecked it before I slept. Many of my friends haven't done it so I'm quite proud of myself because I did it. But because many people haven't done it, the submission was backdated until 29 February.

Today Mr Sadrakh checked me and my classmates' melody and blog. I've done my melody but haven't put it on the finale. Tonight, I will put my melody on the finale and print it out so I'll be more prepared. I've make my blog and put some of my reflections in it. Today there's no instrument class because it is used by Mr Herry to explain the finale. It's a little bit hard to use the finale because I don't know some of the function. But after Mr Herry explained, I understand it.

Today Mr Sadrakh ask us about the natural scale and chords. Some of my classmates can't answer it so Mr Sadrakh spend a long time teaching them. There's almost no music class because of that. The natural scale and chords is easy for me to answer because I've learn that since elementary. I only forget some but easy to recall it.

Today, Mr Sadrakh taught us the C, D, E, F, G and A Chord. Chord is any harmonic set of two to three or more notes that is heard as if sounding simultaneously. Mr Sadrakh taught us in the roman numbers. For example, C chord comes first so we name it "I". Then D chord comes second so we name it "II". I don't really understand roman numbers so at first I'm confused. Now I memorized the chords perfectly.

Today, Mr Sadrakh told us about the finale software. It's a useful software that can help us create tablatures. It also have a button that can play the song after we finish making it so that we can see if the music composed by us is good or not. The bad thing about this software is that it is not free. We have to purchase it. But I don't need to purchase it because my brother use it last 2 years so I still have the software in my computer.

Today we learnt about music notation. I've learnt it before but I Think I've forgotten when Mr. Sadrakh first mentioned it. But then after he say a few things about the music notation, I recall it easily. I'd say that music notation is the easiest topic in music because it's the basic thing that we must learn.

Today my partner, Dio and I sing the "Hari Merdeka" song for my assessment. It's the Indonesian official song. I memorize it perfectly because almost every year, on 17 August we sing that song. 17 August is the independence day of Indonesia. I'm very happy because I got 9.5/10 on that assessment.
